4I-70 through Colorado and Utah in the summer
Try taking I-70 into Utah and then into Colorado. Veterans of the road will confirm that you will see some of the most breathtaking rock formations and high desert areas that cannot be found anywhere else. It is especially beautiful during the summer months. Those who’ve been there say it is a drive everyone interested in scenic drives should experience.
Some say that it’s also a matter of what you are normally used to as well.
Additionally, some say if you live in a place such as the desert of Phoenix, Arizona you could very well take some things for granted. Someone who lives in the desert doesn’t get to drive through such rural areas like in Iowa. They don’t see farm fields. If you’ve never seen that you would enjoy seeing the healthy green landscape one sees crossing the I-90 in South Dakota driving towards the famous Black Hills.
