“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” We understand. The point is that despite the planet’s plethora of problems, Earth is beautiful. 1. Milford Sound, New Zealand
Milford Sound is a picturesque fjord along the southwest coast of New Zealand’s South Island. It is nestled amidst waterfalls and a verdant rainforest 96 kilometers northwest of the resort city of Queenstown. Some say it’s the best part of Fiordland National Park, New Zealand’s largest national park.
Check out the view of the nearby mountains too, such as Mitre Peak, which distinctly dominates the striking shores. You might even enjoy the rainy days here as they create a number of lovely albeit temporary waterfalls that rush down the mighty mountain slopes.
