Gel-form foods prohibited

The TSA has banned all gel and liquid foods in quantities of more than 3.4 ounces. (In fact, they have already banned any gels or liquids in quantities greater than 3.4 ounces, like gel pens, gel ice packs, and hair gel.) Veteran travelers suggest a simple rule: If it can be poured, pumped, spread, spilled, or even sprayed, pack it into your checked baggage or just do not take it.

Sometimes even one cookie . . .

According to The Sacramento Bee, on a flight out of the Sacramento International Airport, a professor at UCD (the University of California, Davis), Julie Sze, was instructed to take a single cookie out of her carry-on and put it in a bin prior to scanning.
