14. Use public transportation

whenever possible sing public transportation in some countries might take a little effort, but it is indeed a good way to save some money. Most of the major metropolises in Europe have some type of metro and public bus system. Additionally, metro lines and public trains run from the airports to the city hubs in the larger cities in Europe which cuts down on what you would spend on taxis too. sing forms of public transit also gives you an excellent opportunity to try to blend in with the locals as well. It will give you a more genuine feel for the place and its inhabitants as well.

13. Walk as much as you can

Walk as much as possible. This is perhaps one of the best ways to save money when traveling. In fact, many cities in Europe can easily be navigated on foot. Others might require a map. Still, even if you get lost that can be an adventure in and of itself. Get lost in a city with confusing streets, such as enice, and you might just stumble across a great local restaurant. Walking everywhere possible is also a good reason for eating a bit more (especially desserts) since you need more energy.
