Check out scenic Coronado
While many refer to Coronado as an island, it is actually a peninsula that stretches between the Pacific Ocean and the San Diego Bay. Coronado might only be a few blocks wide, but there is plenty of fun to be had here. Indeed, its beach is ranked as one of the best in the US. Furthermore, Coronado’s little downtown is usually lively, with a general temperament that could provide a welcome respite from the busier sections of San Diego. Finally, don’t forget to check out Hotel Del Coronado (a “star” of TV and film) either.
