Autumn in London is wonderful. The summer tourists thin and the weather is pleasant. Travel via ferries and taxis and take in the beauty and the memorable architecture from the water. After seeing the fall foliage participate in the festivals too.
The month-long, annual Totally Thames event celebrates the River Thames with music and exhibitions in September. October’s culinary fun features the famous London Restaurant Festival, Think Cocktail Week and Chocolate Week. Visit in November for Guy Fawkes Day, or Bonfire Night on the fifth when they fill the city’s sky with fireworks.
