9. Brussels, Belgium
Set up along the streets from the Grand Palace to Sainte Catherine Place, this iconic European Christmas market features more than 200 stalls, a massive 200 foot ice rink and delectable local, sugary treats (don’t leave with sampling the doughnuts). About 18,000 lights light up the Ferris wheel, which looks over the Belgium’s Grand Palace and makes for a spectacular sight. Watch out for their special Christmas parade that lights up the entire city with its delightful atmosphere.
