Many people include New Orleans in the US state of Louisiana on their bucket list because they want to go to Mardi Gras. Considering that it is known as one of the planet’s most crazy, famous festivals complete with parades, floats, and flashing women, who can blame them? It’s also a great place for Cajun food, jazz music, steamboat cruises, and horse-drawn carriage rides too. The best time to visit is from February to May.
