8Experience Golden Gate Park

Every year 13 million people come to see this rectangular urban park stretches halfway across San Francisco.  It spans an area of 1,017 acres.  The fifth most-visited city park in the country, it has a length of more than three miles and a width of almost half a mile.

Often compared to Central Park in New York City, Golden Gate Park is actually 20 percent larger.  You can see a buffalo herd, Dutch windmills, and have a picnic.  You can also visit the Conservatory of Flowers, the Japanese Tea Garden, and the DeYoung Museum too.

    Yes, I have been there two or three times but don’t stray too far off of the tourist trail. The Dems that run this place have let the homeless problem get out of control. Thanks for the comment and thanks for reading my stuff!
