3Antelope Canyon

Outstanding Antelope Canyon is a natural wonder that comes complete with colorful, flowing sandstone walls and was created long ago by sand erosion and furious, fast-flowing flash flooding during monsoon season. This picturesque place is divided into two sections. They are called The Corkscrew and The Crack.  

The best time to visit is either in the late afternoon or early morning when the views of the rugged red rock here are the most impressive. Being an official part of the Navajo Nation, travelers can only visit these stunning slot canyons as part of an official tour with a Navajo guide.

  1. been to all but 2 .. most ive been to 3 to 80+ times..i was a tour director that took small groups on 2 week to 9 week camping trips usa, canada, alaska,mexico ..i did it for 16yrs..
