2Gulfoss Falls, Iceland

Gulfoos Falls literally translates into Golden Falls, and this is nothing less than a natural treasure for Iceland. One of the country’s most popular natural attractions, Gulfoss runs through the Hvita River. Come summers and visitors can witness surreal rainbows floating in the mist above the falls.

Truly Instagram worthy! The iconic Icelandic waterfall is known for its jaw dropping beauty and can be viewed on the Golden Circle tour nestled in southern Iceland. Gulfoss receives water originating from the melting of Langiokull glacier. The water cascades 32 meters in a couple of stages down a rough canyon.
