10. Hotel Caruso, Ravello, Italy

Located in Ravello, the five-star Hotel Caruso is perched high on a cliff overlooking the sea on the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was once an 11th-century palace and has since been renovated. Its infinity pool is world famous. It regularly slots in on many “top 10” charts due in part to the fact that it appears to be suspended between the sky and the water and has been frequented by the likes of Virginia Woolf and Jackie Kennedy.

11. Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, Asia

The five-star Marina Bay Sands hotel is in Singapore’s center just minutes away from the Chinatown Heritage Center, the popular ArtScience Museum and even closer to the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay. It is topped by the SkyPark which includes a 490 foot (150 meters) infinity swimming pool which is on the planet’s largest cantilevered platform which reportedly hangs 220 feet (67 meters) over the north tower.

12. San Alfonso Del Mar Pool. Algarrobo, Chile

Located right on the water, this private resort is roughly 60 miles from Santiago. It has a beautiful view of two coasts at one time. It not only overlooks the well-known Pacific Ocean, but it also has the largest swimming pool in the world.

The pool hugs the coastline so closely that it is almost like another beach. It is a saltwater pool, thus it is also the largest man-made lagoon on the planet. It spans an area of eight hectares (19.8 acres).

  1. The pools along with the spacious resorts and hotels are beyond beautiful… More breathtaking than anything. So much relaxation to receive. I pray and hope I make it to one once I get a little more better with my health
