The intriguing topography and striking red rock scenery make Sedona a worthwhile addition to any list, especially if you enjoy hiking. During the day the temperature stays somewhere in the 60s. Sedona is also known for its healing culture.
Here you will meet energy healers, enjoy healing massages, and experience the Sedona Vortex. Whether you believe in energy emanations and vortexes, veteran visitors confess to feeling great while there. One of the most popular attractions here is Devil’s Bridge.
The out-and-back hike to see it totals 4.2 miles, but it’s well worth the effort. Be sure to cross the natural bridge. It might look scary from afar but you actually have a wide path that doesn’t feel scary at all. (Sedona also has the only McDonald’s with green arches!)
