18. Go to countries where you do not need a visa

Don’t travel to countries where you are required to have a visa to enter. If you live in Canada, you will be able to travel through most European countries without an entry visa. Most people, however, will need a visa if they wish to visit either Belarus or Russia. Russia even requires visas for tourists who are simply passing through the nation. The best advice to follow is to check your government’s official website for specific travel-related information. You should be able to find all the details you need about how to get a visa.

17. Visit lesser-known cities

Avoid such tourist destinations as London, Paris, and Rome. While these places provide a good deal of excitement and history, prices may be significantly higher because of the great number of tourists who visit these particular cities. The truth is, there are quite a number of large cities all over Europe that you can explore for less money. Athens or Berlin, for example, can provide a traveler with numerous opportunities for culture, history, relaxation, and other activities. In some cases, you can even stay in one of the less expensive cities and take a day trip to points of interest in the touristy spots. Click On the Next > Button to See Next.
