20Great Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina, and Tennessee

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is actually the official most visited US park in the entire country. It spans the states of Tennessee and North Carolina. Indeed, it also encompasses sections of the awesome Appalachian Mountains where your rovin’ writer, his parents, and a select group hiked miles of trails.
Marvel at tumbling waterfalls, crystal-clear mountain streams, and Clingman’s Dome too. Go camping, cycling, fishing, and horseback riding. If you love autumnal colors, visit in the fall when the park is bursting with orange, red, and yellow.
Acadia National Park is my absolute favorite !!
Hi!
I’m not surprised! It has made more than one “top” or “best of” list. I have personally written about it a few times.

My favorit is the#16 Bryce canyon.
Hi!
I might agree but having hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim with my dad and a small group of other scouts, I have a special place for the Grand Canyon National Park myself. But, yes, Bryce is beautiful and makes many different lists, for sure!
