The Epic Plunge, Norwegian Cruise Line

The popular Epic Plunge is 60 meters (almost 197 feet) of sheer wet excitement, starting a sheer four stories above the beautiful deck of a Norwegian Cruise Line ship. Your unforgettable slide starts on a raft within a yellow tube. You blast out a large spout into a huge checkerboard bowl, swirl into a large sinkhole then shoot out into a plunge pool.

The highlight of the Atlantis Resort is The Leap Of Faith attraction which includes live Nurse and Caribbean Reef sharks. The only thing between you and these denizens of the deep is the transparent tube through which you’ll be shooting. Water Cube Water Park, China

The Water Cube Water Park in Beijing was born from the 2008 Olympics. It was after this event that the now famous Beijing National Aquatic Center was remodeled into the colorful underwater space back in 2011. It now includes a number of rides including such favorites as the free-fall dropping Aqualoop and the semi-translucent Serpentine Speed Slide. It may be under renovations for the 2022 Olympics.

Slither’s Slides is a colorful tangle of rides located in Abu Dhabi. The striped tubes all have a fanged snakehead. The Slither Surprise slips inner tubes through a bumpy wet ride. The Serpent Spin is lit with LED lights and drops guests into a black bowl of water. Finally, the Sidewinder sends you rushing through dark twists and turns.
