Walt Disney World in Florida might be considered “the most magical place on Earth”, but it isn’t just for kids! It’s twice as big as Manhattan and has something for everyone. 20. Epcot Challenge Around the World

This challenge involves 11 ethnic dishes. The idea is to try to eat your way across the globe. Some of the favorites include are guacamole and a totopos in Mexico, school bread in Norway, egg rolls in China, and bratwurst in Germany.

19. Hidden Mickeys

It began as an inside joke between the designers of the Epcot Center decades ago, but soon looking for the hidden mickeys became a true park tradition. Some Mickeys are well hidden and others are easy to spot. No one knows how many there are. (Continued on next page)

18. Spa Day

The Senses Spa is where you want to be if you’re in need of some rest and relaxation. There are two locations, one at the Grand Floridian and one at the Saratoga Springs Resort. Enjoy aromatherapy massage, bamboo-fusion massages, blueberry facials, body wraps, and more.

17. Kilimanjaro Safaris

Explore the Kilimanjaro Safaris and enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom at night. Take an 18-minute ride on an open-air vehicle on a guided tour of the popular Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Keep your cameras ready and your eyes open for elephants, hippos, hyenas, lions, and zebras. (Continued on next page)

16. Jungle Cruise

You simply cannot visit Disney World without taking this cheesy favorite. It’s a 10-minute guided tongue in cheek tour through the African Congo, the Amazon, the Mekong River, and the Nile River, replete with classic bad jokes and punitive puns. It’s an all-ages ride.

15. Extra Magic Hours

Wouldn’t it be great to ride the rides without the long wait? Then check out the extra magic hours. You can go late at night after closing or early in the morning prior to the park’s opening. Avoid the kids and enjoy the park. (Continued on next page)

14. Be Our Guest

Alcohol doesn’t fly in the Magic Kingdom. If you want a drink you’ll have to visit the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Enjoy a meal and your choice of beers or wines in the Beast’s enchanted castle. Open until 10 p.m., reservations are required.

13. Polynesian Villas And Bungalows

This island escape is a fun, family-friendly (albeit expensive) option. Stay in an over-the-water bungalow on the popular Seven Seas Lagoon reminiscent of those on Bora-Bora. 12. Star Wars Launch Bay

If you are into the Star Wars film franchise, the popular Star Wars Launch Bay at famous Hollywood Studios is the place for you. See various movie costumes, props, and models, a special behind-the-scenes documentary, and even give Chewbacca a great big hug.

11. Jellyrolls

Call a babysitter and visit Jellyrolls dueling piano bar. Sing along to some Elton John and Billy Joel covers. Doors open at 7 p.m. The music starts at 8 p.m. and it’s SRO an hour later. ID is required and there’s a cover charge. (Continued on next page)

10. Raglan Road

If you’re into Irish pubs, go to Raglan Road. Built in Ireland then shipped to Disney World, it’s open every night and offers such great Irish dishes as Shepherd’s pie and fish and chips. There are also live Irish bands and dancers too!

9. Carousel of Progress

This classic attraction was actually created for the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Walt Disney’s favorite attraction, there’s no long line, the seats are comfortable, and there’s also air-conditioning. The stage rotates carousel-like as you take in a history lesson on technology. (Continued on next page)

8. Tune In Lounge/50’s Prime Time Cafe

At the retro Tune-In Lounge, you can have a cocktail and enjoy classic 1950s television. Like role reversal? You can dine at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe where the waitresses nag you to mind your manners and clean your plate.

7. The Boardwalk-Atlantic Dance Hall

Leave the kids at the hotel and spend an evening at the fun-filled Disney Boardwalk. There you’ll find restaurants, shops, and great nightlife. It’s even got incredible views of Epcot. Enjoy the IllumiNations fireworks show. There’s dancing and great music too! (Continued on next page)

6. Behind the Scene Tours

Take the in-depth, five-hours Disney Keys to the Kingdom Tour if you don’t mind walking through hidden areas such as the underground tunnels. There’s also the seven-hour Backstage Magic Tour where you learn about the secrets of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

5. The Magic Kingdom Mountains

Experience The Magic Kingdom’s mountains. Space Mountain in Tomorrowland takes you on a futuristic space ride. Get wet on Splash Mountain as you take a five-story splashdown. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will take you on a fast train ride through caverns and mines too. (Continued on next page)

4. The Grand Floridian

The Grand Floridian is Disney’s most luxurious hotel. The resort was built to resemble a Victorian hotel from Palm Beach’s golden era. It features live ragtime and music in the lobby, a 181-foot waterslide and a pool with a swim-up bar.

3. Rock ‘n Roller Coaster

Rock out on the Rock ‘N Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith. You race on a dark, indoor track going 60 m.p.h. The ride features such Aerosmith cuts as “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”, “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way.” (Continued on next page)

2. Disney Springs

This is the new waterfront district. You can eat, shop and have fun in any of four outdoor neighborhoods – The Landing, Marketplace, Town Center and West Side. Go bowling, see a movie, or go shopping. Dine at the House of Blues or Paddlefish.

1. Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure

Play secret agent with this scavenger hunt throughout EPCOT. Sign up online and use your smartphone to join “The Agency.” Each mission takes about 45 minutes so you can choose one or try them all.
