12. Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, China

This bridge is a major tourist attraction. It hangs approximately 1,200 feet over a raging river and a rocky mountain valley. Some of the glass bridge panels feature special effects that make them appear to have fallen out or to be cracking.

11. Gaztelugatxe Bridge, Spain

Located on the coast of Biscay, this is footbridge was constructed in the 10th century, it connected the mainland to a hermitage situated on a rocky isle. The weather-worn, stone bridge has a height that varies from 40 feet and 200 feet above the ocean.
