<h3>Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber, Germany</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-6588" src="https://addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-5.jpg" alt="" width="730" height="441" srcset="https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-5.jpg 730w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-5-300x181.jpg 300w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-5-696x420.jpg 696w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2-5-695x420.jpg 695w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px" /></p>
<p>“The Romantic Road” was based on the old Roman road and was built after the war. One of the country’s biggest attractions, you can use this route to see numerous historic locations including the famous fortified medieval city of Rothenburg. Because of its connection to Wilhelm Wohlfahrt, the famous owner of the original Christmas shop. Stay at an inn that comes complete with gingerbread architecture right out of “Hansel and Gretel.”</p>
<p><strong>(Continued on next page)</strong></p>
<h3>Copenhagen, Denmark</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-6589" src="https://addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-4.jpg" alt="" width="730" height="488" srcset="https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-4.jpg 730w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-4-300x201.jpg 300w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-4-696x465.jpg 696w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/3-4-628x420.jpg 628w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px" /></p>

<h3>Oulanka National Park, Finnish Lapland</h3>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-6590" src="https://addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-4.jpg" alt="" width="730" height="484" srcset="https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-4.jpg 730w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-4-300x199.jpg 300w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-4-696x461.jpg 696w, https://www.addtobucketlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/4-4-633x420.jpg 633w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px" /></p>
<p>Let’s be honest here. Lapland is often tied into sketchy <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSQLE7kG8cU" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Santa Claus</a>-connected package deals and even overpriced seasonal tourist traps, but nevertheless, it deserves its place here. This park is situated on Finish Lapland’s northern border.</p>
<p>It’s a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes forming a winter wilderness of sandy banks, rushing rapids, river valleys, and pine forests. Hikers have access to free log cabins. You can ski or head for the Rytisuo Snowshoeing Trail. Breath in the fresh air and see the beauty of an early sunset over the white virgin snow.</p>
