Go glamping right next to Lamington National Park. Stay in a luxury safari tent complete with a rotating fireplace and twin “vintage” metal bathtubs that must be filled by hand. Have a steamy soak complete with views of the ancient forest and the sounds of the local birdlife. The company refuses to host more than four couples at once at this totally catered getaway so it is surprisingly private.

This is an Asian-influenced resort found in the Sunshine Coast’s hinterland. Check out the renowned Spa Studio here next to the great Gardners Falls in Maleny. Stay in a king-size, open-plan suite that comes complete with a private deck and an attractive, outdoor cedar hot tub in the midst of the verdant rainforest. Grab a snack at the popular Maleny Cheese Cafe so you can soak and snack at the same time.

This exceptional urban bolthole is definitely worth a visit. Book one of the King Spa Balcony rooms. Veteran visitors suggest taking advantage of the popular Hot Tub and Silver Screen package. Watch your fave films while you relax in your own private hot tub! The movie is shown on the balcony between you and Melbourne’s unique skyline. Spend an extra $50 and you get chips, ice cream, sparkling wine, and (of course) popcorn too!

Bushies Love Shack, Victoria

Slip into a cozy, vintage-style wooden bath right outside this cabin found in Porepunkah in Victoria’s well-known High Country. The renovated, old forestry hut is now an interesting combination of wood, iron, and glass and is nestled in the midst of 25 hectares of property behind the owner’s home. No worries though, as the bath itself is secreted in a discreet corner that allows guests to take in some great views of the surrounding area. A visit comes complete with luxurious bathrobes, wine, and cheese.
