Please reread the entry. Note the use of the word “nearby.” If you are in Hawaii, you should go see that park before leaving.

Yes, it is. Sorry you were confused. I was born there and just wanted to suggest visiting that park while staying on Kaua’i.
I actually had a longer list of spots in the state of Hawaii worth visiting but had a limited word count. I believe you should see as many places as possible there when you can regardless of where you stay. I might actually rewrite the entry IF anyone else is confused.
