When government officials themselves call their town a tourist hell, you know they are done with frenzied travelers wanting to savor a slice of the region’s life. Oxford gets crazy during June to October. How do does one expect locals to deal with tiny cycle crammed lanes and illegally parked vehicles that block streets. Maybe tourists should just stop adding to the overload during peak summers and explore this university town during off season months.
