This park’s one of the country’s main attractions. You’ve seen the pictures of the fantastic waterfalls spilling into the emerald lakes. Now go see the waterfalls for yourself. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is highlighted by 16 lakes and several connecting waterfalls.
Its dense woodland is inhabited by bears, boars, deer, wolves, rare birds, and more. The park pulls in the tourists so prepare to stand in line at the most Instagrammable places. Swimming isn’t allowed here but less than two hours away is a great natural pool in the Krka National Park if you’re so inclined.

Goreme National Park, Turkey is located in Asia, not in Europe
We beg to differ! According to such sites as worldatlas.com: “The Republic of Turkey is a transcontinental Eurasian nation located between Europe and Asia.” It is a transcontinental country. In fact, a small portion is located on the Balkan peninsula in Southeastern Europe.
In other words, it qualifies for inclusion on this list.

Yes! I have actually acknowledged that elsewhere on this website. The point is since part of the country is in Europe it met the qualifications for inclusion on the list. It is similar to including Niagara Falls as a favorite American honeymoon destination. We all know part of the place is in Canada but nevertheless it is the part of the area that is physically in the USA that gets it on the list.

So according to you Will Phoenix, Vladivostok, Primorskij kraj, Russland is in Europe, since St. Petersburg and other parts of Russia is in Europe.
It’s just a tiny bit of Turky that are in Europe. Therby this National Park should not be on this list.
